This policy is designed to provide you with a clear understanding of our shipping procedures, costs, and estimated delivery timelines so you can shop with absolute peace of mind.
Shipping Destinations & Restrictions
To ensure the highest quality of service and the safe handling of our oversized and handcrafted items, our shipping services are currently limited to the 48 contiguous United States.
Special Address Restrictions:
Please be advised that we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses. Due to the significant dimensions and weight of our Western Red Cedar frames and high-density poly swings, these locations are unable to accept our specialized freight and large-parcel shipments. We appreciate your understanding in providing a physical residential or commercial address to guarantee a successful delivery.
Simple & Transparent Shipping Rates
At Swingcrafted, we believe in a straightforward and honest checkout experience with no hidden fees. Our shipping costs are automatically calculated and clearly displayed during the checkout process based on your order subtotal:
- Standard Shipping (Orders $150.00 and over): FREE
- Flat Rate Shipping (Orders under $150.00): $19.99
The shipping amount shown in your final order summary is the total cost for delivery to your door.
Order Processing & Delivery Timelines
We work diligently to ensure your order is prepared for a secure journey. Please note that our timelines are based on regular business days (Monday through Friday, excluding major U.S. holidays).
- Daily Order Cut-off Time: 2:00 PM (CST/CDT). Orders placed after this time, or on weekends/holidays, will begin processing on the following business day.
- Handling Time: 2 – 4 Business Days. This period includes order verification, rigorous quality inspection, and protective heavy-duty packaging.
- Transit Time: 5 – 10 Business Days. We partner with reliable carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL to ensure your furniture is handled with care.
Total Estimated Delivery Time Calculation:
Handling Time (2-4 Days) + Transit Time (5-10 Days) = 7 – 14 Business Days Total.
Order Tracking & Split Shipments
Once your handcrafted swing has been dispatched, you will receive an automated shipping confirmation email containing your Tracking Number and a direct link to the carrier’s portal. Please allow 24 – 48 hours for the tracking information to become active in the carrier’s system.
Note on Split Shipments: If your order contains multiple items (such as a swing set and a separate rope kit), they may arrive in separate packages or at slightly different times. This ensures that in-stock items reach you as quickly as possible.
Address Accuracy & Missing Packages
A successful delivery starts with an accurate address. Please double-check your shipping details at checkout. Swingcrafted cannot be held responsible for lost or misdelivered packages resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.
If your tracking information states that your package has been “Delivered” but you are unable to locate it:
- Verify the shipping address on your order confirmation.
- Check with neighbors or building management.
- Contact the local carrier office immediately to initiate an investigation.
While we provide full assistance in these cases, we do not assume liability for packages once they are officially marked as delivered by the carrier.
Damaged in Transit
While our products are built for the outdoors and packaged for heavy-duty transit, accidents can occasionally occur. Because our items include large wooden components and specialized hardware, please inspect your shipment upon arrival.
If you receive a damaged item, you must contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery. Please include your Order Number and clear photos of the damaged product and the exterior packaging. We will prioritize your case to arrange for a replacement or a full refund immediately.
